You absolutely can no till potatoes, but not at the scale you are at. I’ve done it a few times and I will tell you that the yield and size of potatoes are nowhere near what conventionally grown potatoes are. Then there is harvest, it’s gotta be done by hand, I don’t think there is a mechanical picker that could do the job. So unless you meant to say no till potatoes won’t work in your operation, I wouldn’t say in broad strokes that you can’t no till potatoes.

You can min till potato's easy. Don't need a chisel plow.
