we need to remember that not all bodies are the same. I can't workout after I eat, if I do, im sluggish and lazy in the gym, and often nauseous during my workouts. I just do what works best for me 🤷♀️

I prefer to work out fasted but it’s mostly a timing thing, I usually work out first thing in the morning. But to your point, I eat three full meals throughout the day

I’ve tried eating before a 5am workout and I always get sick. So I make sure to have a big azzzz dinner the night before and save half my carbs for that meal.

for the amount of weight i lift if i don’t eat before i workout i will not be able to progressive overload or i’ll faint. kudos to all the empty stomachs i guess, but they’re taking the message too personally and still aren’t actually listening to what you’re saying

I JUST started having overnight oats in the morning. I used to get nauseous at the thought of eating that early. Now I eat a 1/4-1/3 of my oats, work out (with so much energy!) and finish them on the ride home. It's been making me feel better overall

The idea of not eating at all scares me. I don’t usually eat a meal before my workout because it’s hard for my stomach to digest food quickly, so I only have a rice cake with honey instead.
