I think he left willingly too. Every interview he has had since then has proven this however people dont want to read them because it doesn’t fit the narrative. I also think he just looks so…. refreshed? these days. Like his energy is good even with this restart. Even if there was an ultimatum given to him, because its true that enha are so overworked a solo album wouldn’t have fit in the schedule, that is still a choice and he chose to do his solo work. I think the group and heeseung had two different mindsets for future goals and this is the result. I wish ppl would read what he has said about his solo debut and support him or leave him be.

I feel like Heeseung leaving has something to do with their impending disbandment/contract renewal issue. Someone from the company, maybe BSH or BE:LIFT's CEO probably held 1-on-1 interview, asked them all one thing: if they wanted to go solo or continue as a group (they did that to RM once). Among all, Heeseung's probably the only one who raised his thought of going solo— he was then oriented about the arrangement that he'd HAD TO LEAVE to do that cuz ENHYPEN already has hectic plans good for the entire year which leaves him NO TIME to pingpong back between two priorities. This explains a lot of things: 1. Why ENHYPEN members seemingly don't know this at first and Jungwon was upset talking about solo careers to YoungJi's show. 2. Why EVAN's solo songs felt like a bittersweet goodbye to ENHYPEN 3. Why EVAN himself confirmed that he cannot be a soloist and in ENHYPEN at the same time 4. Why BE:LIFT was insistent on supporting EVAN despite the funeral wreaths, the petitions, the declining stocks and even when the government is involved. BE:LIFT "fought" so EVAN could debut.

Honestly! Looking at engenes history of taking in and accepting members' decisions😭, I'm pretty sure the company would've been more willing to take hit and blame than for them to have to come out with the truth. Again, it's just speculation. But I do believe that Heeseung has been happier and just overall more free, you know?! Whenever I bring this into account to the boycotters, they always have one other thing to say because what if this is all wrong?? what if this was Heeseung's decision?? what will you do then?? Love this girl!💕 You earned a follower!

I feel like it was clearly his choice to go solo and they’re just trying to use the company forcing him out narrative because it’s easier to cope with that then the fact he wanted to leave the group

Definitely agree, also (sadly) I think there might have been some inner turmoil between him n the guys ( which is maybe why it happened the way it happened)and why all of them are silent, like no show of support between him and them. Just my thoughts. I wish all of them the best and that whatever the circumstances, maybe it needed to be this way so I hope that things are better now for all of them. Really excited to see them in concert this month!

Who was fired but still signed a contract? it doesn't make sense. And the company saying enhypen can't do solo? why now? why are they saying this crucial statement when one of the member left already. its like he cant do solo not now maybe in the future my thoughts was he cant wait no more so he choose to leave. cause i was heeseung and i got kicked out i won't sign another contract on that label f.it but in heeseung's case he signed it and the contract a year and half with enhypen they just erased it hhahaah

His letter that he posted said that he made this choice at the company’s suggestion so yea he definitely wanted to go solo but like it does seem like they definitely pushed him to leave in order to do it

Enhypen is a group where it’s not possible for one to shine brightest. There are other groups like that too. Heeseung wanted to leave and that producer helped me see that.

to me it was timing, i don’t question whether he want to leave or not, but based on how things played out after the announcement was made, it seemed like a last minute decision, so at the very least i believe he was forced to leave immediately instead of a proper official exit

Thank you, at this point I just think they just don't want to accept, he rather leave than not have a solo career now, it's totally respectable, but I feel that these people do not even want to consider that to be true because they are so parasocial and so extreme that would break the idea they formed of him, and some would even hate him

But do we really think a ruthless corporate label like BELIFT/HYBE would just let a peak, high-earning asset like Heeseung stroll out of the group on a whim without proper, long-term planning? If this were organized and amicable, the timeline wouldn't be a rushed logistical dumpster fire. A multi-billion dollar company isn't that stupid like iykwim. They know a rushed, sudden exit means fans will blame them, yet they were clearly caught completely off guard with all the evidences coming out. And no, we aren't talking about random tarot card readings, anonymous messages from so-called "employees," or unverified TikTok rumors. We are talking about actual, physical evidence from the members and the shitass company themselves. Plus, people need to stop acting like his departure is the only reason fans are furious. The boycott against the label didn't just start yesterday, it spread widely way back during the Fate Tour era. People finally woke up and realized that these artists are being overworked and treated like disposable corporate assets rather than humans. His forced solo pivot under an ironclad contract is just the breaking point of a pattern of mistreatment that's been happening for a long time.
