Because I want to be able to talk with everyone, I live in Estonia and I'm building my life here, once my child gets older I want to help her with school work, I want to be part of this society and since I'm Finnish, it's maybe the easiest language for me to learn.

Ok. If Estonia was occupied by Soviet Union then why estonian don't like russian. Ib Soviet Union were a lot of countries - Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Azebadjan and so on.

Exactly, I'm learning Estonian because I am an expat living in Tallinn and want to understand the culture. I's the most beautiful language I have ever studied. (I speak several languages fluently.)
