As a former foster kid who was adopted (I would not recommend my adopted parents), more children need to be placed in loving homes like yours. Please continue to foster kids, they’ll remember you for the rest of their lives, like I remember all the people who were so kind to me when I was going through the system.

i think why i would adopt is bc there are so many kids w out parents and why would i birth my own if there are others that need love (and bc im scared of pregnancy 💔)

the ones commenting this is weird, it isn't. alot of kids are in foster care and many aren't lucky to get foster parents that are there to protect them and care for them. other see them as pay cheques. i find this so beautiful that you could impact foster kids by showing them the love and care they deserve.

1 of my 2 truths whenever we play 2 truths and a lie is that I used to understand/speak Vietnamese the first few years of my life. I’m a first gen African American and my mom worked crazy hours and didn’t have any family out here. She found this older Vietnamese couple who offered to babysit me while she worked. They would watch me, take care of me, feed me their food, love me like their own grandkids my mom said 😭 because their kids/grandkids lived back home or all over. My mom said I brought them so much joy 🥰
