Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta 🌶️ Why did no one tell me adding cream to pasta makes it taste 100x better? But why does it have to be a million calories for it to taste this good?🥲 Ingredients 300g pasta 1kg chicken 200ml double cream 50g butter 2 onions (finely chopped) 4 garlic cloves (diced) Fresh or dried parsley Parmesan (depends how big your back is🤓) Mozzarella (depends how big your back is🤓) Cajun Seasoning 2 tbsp paprika 1 tbsp smoked paprika 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp thyme 1 tsp cayenne pepper 1½ tsp onion powder 1 tsp oregano Oil Juice of ½ lemon salt Or just buy a store-bought Cajun seasoning if you can’t be bothered🙂 Method👇 1️⃣ Add all the Cajun seasoning, oil and lemon juice to the chicken and marinate for at least 1 hour. 2️⃣ Heat a little oil in a pan and sear the chicken on both sides until fully cooked. Remove the chicken and DON’T throw away the oil in the pan❌ That’s where all the flavour is. 3️⃣ Add the butter to the same pan, then add the onions. Sauté until they’ve softened and reduced in size (around 5 minutes depending on how finely they’re chopped). 4️⃣ Add the garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. 5️⃣ Pour in a splash of water to stop the garlic frying, then add the double cream and stir everything together. Add another sprinkle of Cajun seasoning to the sauce. 6️⃣ Add your al dente pasta and toss until every piece is coated in that creamy sauce. 7️⃣ Add as much Parmesan and mozzarella as your heart desires. Finish with parsley, then sprinkle over some chilli flakes if you like a bit of heat🥵 #fyp #creamy #cajunpasta
