@rtenews: A protest was held in Dublin city centre against Ireland’s EU Presidency. The demonstration had a row of people holding Palestinian flags lining part of the street in front of Dublin Castle. Around two dozen gardaí formed a line preventing the protest approaching the entrance to the Castle close to City Hall. People Before Profit’s Richard Boyd Barrett said gardaí had reneged on an agreement to allow the protest to proceed to the front of the Castle and remain on the footpath and described the decision to block the protest and therefore traffic on Dame Street as ‘pointless, reckless and unnecessary’. Mr Boyd Barrett said the protest was held to ‘say no to war, no to militarisation’ and called for sanctions against Israel. Link in bio read more📲 #ireland #dublin

No wars would be possible without the Boyd Barretts and Paul Murphys of Ireland forcefully insisting Ireland be used as an Israeli war camp for refugees so Israel and USA can blast away without consequences.
