I live in Nebraska, not just the heat that is going on now. But our winter was weirdly warm that we still had flies in January and the ticks have been nasty this year.

I agree. The earth is changing. Very strange no big hurricanes on East Coast last year and we had snow two years in a row in South Carolina. The earth has her cycles too and she's ready for a change.

I think there's more to it, the poles have slightly tilted more, and it just seems like magnetic storms are hitting us differently because of it, IL is tornado alley rn

UK here, never known heat like we had last week. No AC apart from cars. Houses made of red brick- literally pizza ovens to retain heat. whilst driving yesterday I had the same feeling about winter this year. It crossed my mind, is it going to get DEEPLY cold. Let's see. ✨

Born and raised in OH for 54 years and I can tell you the winters alternate years. Ohio will have triple digit summers and -32 windchills in the winter. Always been like that. Last winter ('25-'26) wasn't as bad as the previous ('24-'25), there hasn't been a winter where I didn't have to dig my car out of the snow. This is why after the snowfall along with the -32° windchill in January, I threw in the towel and now reside in Florida. 😂

also for your data collection... Vermont has felt like early fall since spring... ie heat needed at night and then ac during the day. this is terrible for plants

Funny, the first time I ever heard of El Nino was when I was 20 and big chunks of the Pacific Coast Highway slid into the sea. I've seen a few El Ninos. Im a New Englander born and raised and moved back here 15 years ago. Every bone in my body says you are correct about this coming winter.

I’m in North Dakota. Our summers are VERY hot and dry. Our winters are pretty brutal. We reach -60 and lots of blizzards. I’m really hoping it’s not crazy here. I notice the weather is flipping around too.

I miss the days where the seasons were actually just that seasons meaning winter was winter summer was summer I'm in Ohio and we've had many years of just about the same weather all year besides a couple of months I'm wishing those days where the seasons were seasons could come back not for me but for the Children . lady from Australia here we had 52 degreas Celsius summer heat wave and we are in the middle of winter its not as cold and we were told to brave for a freezing winter its just wetter and windier, but yes prep just in case if powers go out
