Sorry you had to go through this mama! I’m glad she’s ok now. My daughter was about 6-7 month old when she experienced a febrile seizure. Her pediatrician said roseola was going around and was mostly likely caused from that. She also had strep throat a month before but that was from daycare. Another thing the pediatrician said was to call 911 if the seizure last for more than 15 minutes since it can get dangerous. Wondering if other moms heard about this!

I don't believe your daughter had strep throat. The dr just don't know what to tell you. Yes this is true. My 2 older sons both had febrile seizures around 1 years old. Both happened at night & in the summer. It sucks there's no warnings it just happens. 😔When it did happen we placed them under the shower head & ran the cold water over their heads. Opened their mouths so they could breathe & come out of it. Still traumatized!
