that's what they are since about the 90's prior to that they typically had 2 v belts

literally two days after I got my car keep in mind it's a 2007 and I got it earlier this year these serpentine belt went out while I was driving and I proceeded to keep driving it to work with no power steering and it went out while I was midturn. 😅

While I did get angry at 3 belt set ups because without fail, the innermost one would need replacing, I feel it’s better to have one thing not work instead of all of them.

Is it possible a worm belt not charge a new battery fully? Never had any issues its a year old battery but it only charges to 13.5 while idling now and only 14 while driving.

Had an 88 Toyota Celica and a 2 dollar bolt caused the alternator to stop charging after it broke. This bolt was one of the bolt to the water pump and helped a bracket for the alternator in place.
