My sewing machine! It was a pricey upfront purchase but I use it nearly every single day and even use it to repair and give longer life to other things so double value

two sponges, a latex glove, and a pringle tube. if you account for reusing, insane cost per use

My hiking boots have a disgustingly low cost per mile when considering how much I wear them and they cost hundreds of pounds, but I’d walk my way out of cheap boots

I bought a denim jacket when I was 16 (28 next month ) for £4 in a charity shop. I hand-sewed my own pockets from scrap denim in the inside as it didn’t have any. cost per use is definitely less than a penny now - I’ll wear it and repair for as long as I can

I always pop into charity shops to look for bangles and jewellery - I’ve bought some colourful bangles for literally 50p and they’re SO sturdy

My kindle has a negligible cost per use for sure !!! I got it a case and I use it hours each day and it lasts forever (my last one survived 10 years before it started loosing its battery and the surgery to change the battery broke the screen sadly)

My dad’s Levi’s jacket. It’s 45 years old, i still use it whenever i can. He paid 10€ for it back in 1981, doesn’t get much better than that when it comes to cost per use

I have one pair of Patagonia shorts and I wear them almost everyday for the entire spring and summer. I think of things as investments and it’s really easy to get dressed, when you have less quality pieces, that you will use for many and many years

I won't buy clothes unless I can guarantee I'll get £1 per wear - decent boots and a winter coat turn out to be excellent investments

My Jansport backpack: bought it in 2008, it's been to 18 countries, through a uni degree, been in the washing machine probably 1000 times and still going strong, colour still vibrant too.

I legitimately got crocs flip flops ten years ago, yesterday the right foot finally broke. I am immediately ordering another pair because I have worn them over 100 times and they cause way less wear and tear on my feet. I have also had the same straighteners for 10 years!
