15 Days Of High Protein Meals day 6: CREAMY LEMON GARLIC PASTA 🍋🧄🍽️ INGREDIENTS: ✨ 2 Chicken Breasts prepared following Amy’s Blackened Chicken Recipe (pinned to my profile) ✨6oz Bow Ties (weighed dry) ✨1tbsp Olive Oil ✨3 Cloves Minced Garlic ✨3/4 Cup Half & Half (SILK Nondairy half & half for dairy free) ✨1 Large Lemon ✨1/2 Cup Chicken Broth ✨1/4 Cup Shaved Parmesean ✨Salt & Pepper to taste ✨GARNISH: fresh parsley DIRECTIONS: ✨Follow my blackened chicken recipe to prepare your chicken breasts. Once they are done, set aside. ✨While the chicken is cooking, cook your pasta following the instructions on the box. ✨In the same pan you cooked your chicken, add the olive oil. Add in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. ✨Lower the heat and add in the chicken broth, lemon zest & lemon juice and simmer for 2-3 minutes. ✨Lower the heat to low, and add in the half & half and the parmesean. Stir until smooth. Season with salt & pepper to taste. Keep the sauce over the heat until the sauce thickens, stirring consistently.
