yea it is pretty normal, infact you actually get more fps when you play on a monitor because Nvidia gpu laptops have a thing call Nvidia optimus pretty much it switches between the igpu and dgpu depending on the task, although it does bottleneck perfor bc the dgpu has to go pass the igpu to like work yk yk so it decreases performance. But with a monitor it bypasses that making performance much better, also you can still get the same result without a monitor if it has mux switch which directly makes your laptop use the dgpu and shuts off the igpu

If your laptop is 1080p, then windows will just scale up to fit the size of your monitor but it will not increase its reso Also which i9-- is that ?

1440p monitor but did you set it to 1440p? You might still be playing in 1080p if you haven’t checked

limit mo lang yung fps ng game sa hrz ng monitor mo. kung competitive ka, ramdam mo yung latency niyan tapos high power consumption pa. hindi applicable dahil laptop yan. haha
