@1araquinn: Replying to @kayak it’s actually just so bad that it doesn’t matter anymore 🎊

You shouldn’t have to wait for insurance cards!!! Whatever system you’re using should have a virtual card that you can download or print in your patient portal

When you get tested you don’t want to be gluten free because they need you eating gluten to tell if gluten is the issue.

Are you an IBS babe? I recently got diagnosed and the probiotic Florastor has been a game changer for my gut health. Best wishes!

When I realized it wasn't gluten but beef, things changed for the better. I still have other GI issues, but it's significantly less. Not saying it's beef for you, but it could be your GI acting up or a weird sensitivity you didn't think was possible. Best of luck at the doctors, I hope you get answers soon! Enjoy your taco bell!!!

i fear with some conditions eating "healthier" (like more veg and such) is actually harder on your GI system than the other foods. i hope you can get answers !!

I’m not here to give my two cents, but I know how difficult GI stuff can be, especially getting medical professionals to take these issues seriously as a woman. Good luck, and I’m sooo happy for you to be able to choose gluten again!

A lot of the processed stuff that is supposed to be gluten-free is really bad for our stomachs that’s the irony

Unrelated, but did you do that with the caption on purpose? The more expander lines up perfectly I'm so impressed

Have you ever been evaluated for endometriosis? Digestive issues and pain are a major part of that.

This sounds like what im going through. I went to the hospital after severe, SEVERE pain. Turns out i have really bad gastritis. I have to take pantoprazole, it helps. However, one thing that actually makes a huuuuge difference is this oral medication, almagel 200mg. It coats your entire stomach and esophagus. Helps a shit ton. Im assuming you need a prescription for it tho

So I only say this because of someone I know who went through this I am not a doctor so like take it with a grain of salt but a friend of mine who used to struggle with an0rexia and bul!mia, she ended up developing ulcerative colitis. Idk the exact data but she also thought it was celiac at first but the stress of the ED caused an immune response leading to UC. Something maybe to ask a doc about?

I had this happen to me ( horrible gi issues for years) and it turns out I needed my gall bladder out and then after I still had to take nerve stomach meds I really hope the GI doctors can help you find what helps you! It’s definitely a long strenuous process

Biocare glutenzyme plus is like a supplement that breaks down gluten in your stomach before it interacts with your gut and as far as I know allows celiacs to eat gluten without having as much of a reaction when you take a tablet just before you eat
