The thing is, in our lifetime the two party system will ALWAYS be there. In OUR lifetime we will NEVER get rid of it. So yes, in the grand scheme of things, liberals and democrats are holding up the two party system BUT for now, it’s truly the best option there is for slowly getting rid of the two party system.

Problem is, someone is going to win, regardless. Politics is all about lesser of two evils while working towards a permanent solution. Sadly people will always be power hungry so we may never find a “solution” to politics but we need to make it as good as possible in the given time

Everyone loves communism and collectivism until they are bade to support something that goes against their identity. You are okay with fully trusting the government with your rights, but what happens when they vote against your life to love who you love, express your culture or interests, and support certain individuals. I swear it’s the dumbest stuff ever. You’re 100% benefiting from liberalism and conditioned in a liberal society that allows you to use your individualism to advocate against it. It’s paradoxical, but also the beauty of liberalism. It’s the only system where you can advocate against your government while still keeping your dignity.
