NFL STAR RUNS FROM COPS, AVOIDS JAIL TIME? In this newly released bodycam footage, star NFL linebacker James Pearce Jr. makes a wild getaway attempt from the police. On February 7 in Doral, Florida, Pearce was pulled over by police following a domestic dispute report from his then-girlfriend, WNBA star Rickea Jackson. Pearce allegedly followed Jackson's car and repeatedly collided with hers as she attempted to reach the Doral police station. The bodycam footage shows Pearce having a verbal confrontation with the officer and refusing to comply with his demands. Pearce can then be seen getting back in his car and allegedly fleeing the officers. Police followed Pearce for about five minutes before he crashed his car and attempted to get away on foot. He was tackled by multiple officers and arrested. Pearce was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, fleeing and eluding police, and resisting an officer with violence. However, in April, Pearce was offered the option of having his charges dropped if he successfully completes a one-year diversion program. #Bodycam #Arrest #NFL #WNBA #Football #Basketball #PoliceChase - @crmnallyobsessed
