Kindness cost nothing, but your words could cost everything for someone else. As a CNA who has felt your pain, I'm truly so sorry. Training for cpr and doing cpr are totally different feelings, it changes you as a person. Thank you so much for showing up, not only dealing with the easy but hard. Not many people can do what we do, It's one of the most mentality and physically draining jobs. Know that you showing up truly matter so much to them, keep being the light for your clients in the storm! Remember to take care of you, and not let the death eat you alive!💗

I just want to remind you that what you did took incredible courage. CPR is physically and emotionally traumatic, and feeling or hearing ribs break is unfortunately part of CPR. But breaking bones means you gave that person the best chance you could. You gave someone a fighting chance, and that’s something to be proud of. I know it was heartbreaking, but you did exactly what they needed in that moment. Please be kind to yourself and give yourself time to process everything. Thank you for stepping up when someone needed you most. You’re stronger than you know, and the compassion you have for your patients is evident. Sending you so much love, strength, and prayers. ❤️

genuine kindness and love is the most powerful gift of humanity. we all are capable of it, but unfortunately it’s not always easy and requires a level of self awareness and selflessness that not many people exercise. once you gain a perspective, to the inevitably of suffering and pain i believe you can become better at truly grasping how much a smile means, how much a couple minutes of your day to listen to someone else can help, and how much patience with others can greatly impact others.

Agreed. Plus working in healthcare is hard. Especially when you can’t rant abt your day bc of HIPPA is even harder. Bc what do you mean I can’t even tell a therapist abt my residents? Working in healthcare makes you open your eyes faster and way bigger than what they were. Healthcare workers deserve more than what we can receive. Thank you for all you do. You are amazing!!

As a CNA this HURT thank you for what u do :( I did clinicals and someone died during that time and it absolutely triggered me seeing that was horrible for our whole class
