that's not where high falls State Park is located it is located south of Atlanta and north of Macon

Helton creek falls is beautiful but if you don’t have a truck or suv you can only go in and out one way and it genuinely feels like a death sentence. I’m not kidding. Nothing prepared me for a narrow ass road on the side of a mountain with no guard rail and big ass trucks hauling ass around the corner that you cannot see around. We were almost ran off the side 3x otw in and once otw out. Sent me into a panic attack so be careful 😳

High falls is near Jackson, between Macon and ATL! About 3 minutes off 75. It’s probably not the best in GA, but it’s pretty and the hike is not bad!

There is also another State park called Cloud land canyon. It has 2 very pretty waterfalls.
