You can go a week without talking to me, as long as you communicate with me beforehand. a simple text saying: "Hey, i won't be able to talk for X period of time because of Y." then i'll be okay. but if someone just disappears on me for a week with no explanation, then i'm gonna be mad.

My partner and I have been talking everyday for the last 4 years, because we actually like being around each other, I hang out with my friends, he hangs out with his, I have a job, he has his, and we STILL have time to talk to each other, even if it's just for 10 mins before passing out from exhaustion. Having zero contact with your partner for long periods of time with no explanation is NOT normal, don't let people tell you otherwise.
