You mentioned large bodies of water. In Riverside county we have a few man made lakes/Dams. According to my research, Lake Skinner was created to withstand a 7.0 earthquake, but Lake Perris was not and further improvements/ upgrades will not be completed until 2030 that would allow it to withstand such magnitude. (I’m not too sure how accurate this information may be) Both lakes are near the San Jacinto and Elsinore Faults lines. Could these large bodies of water potentially come from these Dams as well?
