If you're financially able, giving a donation to a rescue along with her can make it easier for them to make room. She doesn't sound impossible to rehome but the reality is that dogs like this are very difficult to place. Most fosters have other dogs so her dog issues are probably a bigger issue than her kid problem tbh.

I’ve been trying to find rehome one of my dogs as well, and nothing and I’ve been trying for 5months and I’m moving in 3 weeks,& don’t know what to do. I’m in the Nashville area

hi! Just a question: why did you not consider training? I think it’s so unfortunate that people just give their dogs away when the dog needs them the most. You could have worked with a trainer, but now the dog just lost one of the only families she remembers. :( hopefully the new home is okay

Start reaching out to rescues outside of your city/state. Sometimes places will be willing to take them if they can get transportation or if you’ll bring them there. There also should be rehoming Facebook groups for your area. I know it’s not much, I’ve been trying to find a home for a stray cat & it’s so hard.

There’s a Facebook group that might be helpful for you, it’s called Adoptable sport and performance dogs- it sounds like she could be a good sport/active pet dog for a childfree home so maybe you could post her there?

I’ve known Juno parents before she came into their lives, Juno is a very lovable dog and loves her mom and dad so much and loves to going on hikes and traveling. She does need lots of exercise and a family that will spend a lot of time with her. I love Juno ❤️
