I bought a huge storage box and started buying cleaning stuff, oven gloves, cutlery, utensils, toiletries, cups and glasses ETC, when we got got accepted on our mortgage & we got the final move in date we starting buying bigger things as I didn’t know a sofa can take 6/8 weeks to be delivered🙈go for it girl xx

we’ve just got our offer accepted on our house so the stress is about to begin🤣 we started asking for birthday/christmas presents as household essentials like kettle, toaster, air fryer, bedding etc beginning of last year but now we have a whole storage room full of furniture and probably everything we need (once you start you can’t stop…)💕

I started “my draw” in November and we had an offer accepted in February and are still waiting to move in. The draw ended up becoming a whole room and part of the garage😂

Go you girly! So proud of you. I started my ‘bottom drawer’ aka under my bed/ in bottom of wardrobe a year before I moved getting little decorative bits and pots, pans, plates, kettle toaster ect. Did take up a lot of space but saved me plenty of money to just get the bulky stuff when I moved 🩷

We had our offer accepted in May & started buying things 3 years ago (always brought things that were just basics/ no color schemes etc so that we wouldn’t go off things such as pots & pans, cutlery, tea towels etc etc) we now have almost everything we need other than the big furniture pieces or decor bits that we will get when we move in, the earlier you start the less money it will feel like you are spending in one go hahahah, and it makes it 10x more exciting!
