@travellingwithdora: Capri is honestly gorgeous but they weren’t kidding when they said it is one of the most expensive islands in Italy! Here is my budget one day trip and tips to save money. Stay overnight in Sorrento for cheaper accomodation Take a morning ferry to Capri - 17 minute ride Grab breakfast and coffee Go on a boat tour - we did a cheap shared boat tour but I would highly recommend spending a bit more and taking one where you can swim! The water looks so amazing and I was so jealous of everyone in the water. This is one thing I regret about my day trip. Take a bus to Anacapri and walk around the stores Take the Mount Solaro Chairlift and enjoy the views on top Enjoy a gelato with homemade waffle cones at Buonocore Take a stroll through Gardens of Augustus (we didn’t have the time) Take a ferry back to Sorrento for dinner (much more affordable) Follow for more cost breakdowns and budget tips! #capri #amalficoast #italytravel #howmuchispendinaday #budgettravel
