I'm right in the middle at $180k/yr. I paid someone's annual salary in taxes last year, I don't get to claim hotel expenses or gas for work related expenditures. I drive my vehicle 80% of the time only for work. 30k in taxes, 50k in expenses. Close to half my income wasn't even seen.
