@0ld.bl0: The fact that Andy’s imagination was full of action, adventures, cars, trains, fighting, and crime solving, while Bonnie’s imagination is mostly marriage, tea parties, cooking, poison, and drama is kind of odd. They even had her say “husband and knife” instead of “husband and wife,” which felt weird because it fed into a stereotype that husband goes first and wife goes second when they could’ve simply said wife and husband, but they even downplay the wife and said knife. The bigger issue is that whenever we see Bonnie playing, it’s mostly stereotypical “girly” activities, while Andy’s imagination is shown as exciting and action packed. Boys and girls can enjoy the same kinds of play, so it’s strange that they leaned so heavily into those stereotypes instead of giving Bonnie a more adventurous imagination too. ##animeedit##anime##wlw##mlm# #storytime
