Those of us with lower needs have to be the bridge to understanding those with higher needs. We still experience the overstimulations, the meltdowns and sensitivities. I do this for my son who’s non-verbal, and I went from hiding my Autism to being honest about my experiences.

Its also not as straight forward as the levels make it out to be, support needs can and do CHANGE! I used to be lower support needs, I’m definitely not anymore

Not all hero’s wear capes but you do! For the kids coming up behind you who are struggling to fit into society and not understanding why they don’t, you are a beacon of light and hope because you’ve fitted in very well to your own skin! Keep doing what you’re doing because education is so important for our struggling youth!

Every minority community has members who are better at public speaking, have to some degree more influence and connections. When a bureaucrat who has *influence over* our community speaks in blanket statements it's natural and imperative that those of us, like yourself, that have public speaking abilities and a platform step up. We don't just champion ourselves, we champion our minority group. Well done, keep up the good work 💙
