@tyler_therealtor: Grauman’s Chinese Theater was built almost a century ago, but it’s still the most famous movie theater in the world. It hosts more movie premieres than any other theater, and has the third biggest IMAX screen in the country. But the theater’s biggest claim to fame is actually outside the theater, where the movie star was literally invented and cemented 🎥 ⭐️ Which would you rather see, one of the 1920s’ extravagant premieres, or a new movie on today’s 94-foot wide IMAX screen? Let me know in the comments. 👇 Looking for a home in Hollywood, or anywhere else in LA? best video yet. my favorite theaters in los angeles were the Chinese theater and cinerama dome. I also remember eating at the hamburger hamlet across the street. in the mid 80s, I remember taking a date to the rooftop of the Roosevelt hotel as it was being refurbished

I feel like I wouldn’t be allowed to be at a premier in the 1920’s. 😅😅

What an extravaganza! How better to support your local industry than that! New York City has Radio City Music hall of which I have seen movies with a show by the incredible Rockettes.

When I was in Hollywood, I did some background work and we used that Theater for the premier scene of saving Mr. Banks making the Mary Poppins. It was awesome. We shot to three in the morning.👍

I wish I could have gone back and seen the 1939 movies 🎥🍿 that were nominated for an Oscar when they debut. That's the greatest year in film. It's the textbooks of today. Every movie today is not worth it. In fact I don't even want to download them for free, they are anti-entertainment (the new era we have entered). Nitnotcha, Of Mice in Men, Goodbye Mr. Chips, The Wizard of Oz, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Gone With the Wind, and of course The Wuthering Heights, 1939 was perfection, flawless, and there is nothing to look forward to, it's all in the past.

Please, do a story on the Millennium Biltmore Hotel on 5th & Olive. The Oscars were held there, very few people know about it. It's got beautiful brick architecture and ornate decorative art inside. Ice skating ⛸️on Pershing Square in front, and the Downtown Los Angeles Central Library behind it, the subway beneath it. It's like the perfect date for history buffs in December.
