I used to just give my paintings or drawings to my friends and family, since I’ve started to take my work more seriously my friends ASK me to paint them stuff and happily pay me for my work! The hard part for me right now is breaking out of that bubble and finding real clientele. My body of work is still quite small (from giving my stuff away 😩) but I’m slowly pushing myself out more and more! Your advice has helped me feel more confident in myself and taking my work to the next level
