I remember being little like 10 years old little and dreaming about the day I’d become a father so I could be everything little Davien needed growing up. Today I can proudly say I’ve broken that generational curse. My boys will never know the feeling of wondering if Dad is going to show up when they need him most. Fatherhood is something I’ll never take for granted. Being their dad is the greatest blessing and responsibility God has given me. Every hug, every bedtime, every dinner together, every moment means the world to me because I know the feeling of just wanting that from your dad and now I get to relive that with my boys. It’s crazy because Iv dreamed about this exact life I live today. From having my beautiful wife by my side, 2 boys, a home that we call ours I’m forever grateful for it all. Being present matters. Showing up matters & Loving your kids matters! Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there showing up and doing what fathers are supposed to do! Also Happy Father’s Day to all the single moms having to fill in those shoes. I remember growing up and celebrating this day with my mom too because she was always holding it down ❤️
