The California high speed rail is a prime example of what Gavin Newsom wants to do with billionaires tax money. After all the 494 mile high speed rail began in 1996 and has zero functional track. All this in 30 years and $126 billion.

Billionaires tax is just a fancy term to tax everyone's wealth. IE your 401K your stock portfolio etc. Buried in the bill California politicians can change who they tax & the income of those who they can tax with just a simple majority vote in the assembly & senate. So whoever votes for this bill is approving a tax on themselves.

We don’t have a taxing problem we have a spending problem. EVERY STATE (red or blue) needs to let all of its citizens see how much tax dollars are taken in and where is EVERY dollar spent. The American people deserve transparency.
