Did you know what followed after this and most of people didnt even live like this, also taliban hates USA and USA funded the republic to be against the taliban the reasons is because taliban housed alot of other islamists before 9/11, after 9/11 USA did the intervention against afghanistan to OVERTHROW THE TALIBAN so why are you just lying and pls these are images of urban privileged elites in kabul and majority which are rural population resisted the communist rule seeing it as unislamic and untraditional and thats how Mujahid were made which are just people against the communists they are not a monolithic bloc as you think but are a decentralized grassroots groups of fighters including hazaras and tajiks so yeah the majority didnt like the Communist rule and Soviet Intervention. (i'm not defending the USA, they are just as bad as what the soviets did to afghanistan)
