What I enjoyed most about tadc was the potential in the interesting plot questions that were teased at, but ended up never being answered, apparently in exchange for subpar and un-nuanced character development

TADC made me realize that, if I ever do anything “official” with my OCs, I CANNOT be the writer. Or at the very least I cannot be the sole writer. Having good OCs is not the same as being a good writer. And just because art comes to you naturally does not mean writing will.

he's honestly right, TADC is messy as a story and shows hallmarks of a writer who has a lack of experience. it's her first time directing a show and it's clear. It would have been fine if this stayed as a small glitch show. but it blew up and expectations rose exponentially, and it seems goosewoex struggled to keep up. She definitely would've benefited with a few other writers and assistants. Plus the shows conception and pacing is rushed, and sidelines characters and b plots because of this.

Anytime I think about tadc I feel like I go a bit insane, wasn’t it originally a psychological horror? Wasn’t that the reason why so many fans made theories about them being dead or rotting?? Where did the horror go lmao

I think the show would be entertaining if they didn’t care about the plot and it was just an episode by episode adventure thing, like episode two if you only view it that way was really entertaining

I agree. As a tadc fan I hated the end. (Ep 9) it felt rushed the thing we thought would happen DID happen Jax blocks all character arcs and ruins it looking back it feels out of place at the time it felt big like ep 7 now it’s just boring and hard to watch I will always be a glitch fan but this had wasted potential (sorry this is so long!)

and you don't even talk about the fact that most of the lore is in Gooseworx' tublr and she doesnt even care to put in the show which is crazy to have lore OUT of the show. On the other side murder drones, a glitch production but not Goose, is perfection wrote and actually follows

I feel like this show fell victim to what many MANY other shows have before, too many ideas. There's just too many plotlines and different ideas all jumbled together, into one big rushed mess. Could some of these ideas have been really cool? Yes, I think most if not all of them are really cool in concept. Does it work in a 9 episode series? Hell no. 20 episodes and a complete plot rework would've made this show so much better, and this is just one of many examples as to why filler exists

my issue is that for most of the series it was some goofy adventures with no sense for ppl to laugh and have fun, but then it randomly shifts to something completely different and more serious, all the mysteries and plots instead of connection to each other just randomly stops for new ones to randomly to appear. Everything feels so detached from each other.
