@katechallinorbodyart: ABDOMINAL SCAR TATTOO ♥️🌸♥️ I had the please of spending a fantastic day with Helen, who is is one of our beautiful breast cancer survivors 🤗 was diagnosed with breast cancer in her 30's. She underwent treatment and breast reconstruction using tissue from her abdomen, leaving a significant abdominal scar. As with so many people affected by breast cancer, the journey doesn’t simply end when treatment finishes. The physical changes can be lifelong, and learning to reconnect with your body can be an important part of healing. 💖 Helen wanted to transform this area into something beautiful and meaningful, creating a piece of artwork that felt personal to her. We also managed a cheeky little cover-up of an old tattoo while we were at it! 😊 It was such a pleasure designing this unique piece together and spending the day getting to know Helen. She is an incredible woman who has faced so much with strength, grace and determination, and it was wonderful to hear about the life she is rebuilding beyond cancer. 🌸 This tattoo was gifted through, and I feel incredibly privileged to have been trusted with such an important part of Helen’s journey. My hope is that every time she looks at this piece, she sees not just a scar, but a reminder of her resilience, courage and everything she has overcome. 💕 Thank you, Helen, for sharing your story with me.
