You need to remove the towel from under the carseats. It's not crash safety tested with them and can cause safety issues if you are in an accident.

People that keep screaming crash test ratings don’t understand that these test are done with 1 type of seat anyways and literally every vehicle has different seats and materials. A towel under a car seat isn’t that deep of an issue.

Both car seats allow for a thin towel underneath. It’ll be okay guys. No different then a car seat mat.

I really like the concept, and I get how handy it will be. The only caution I have is that anything not tied down will become a projectile in an accident. Therefore, instead of the aesthetic baskets, I'd go with containers with snap on lids that can be attached to the cargo floor D rings.

Maybe get a basket with a lid for toys and stuff? And secure it down? So if you’re ever in an accident the toys don’t go flying. Maybe I’m being overly cautious

Not a hater, just worried. Putting the towel down then the car seats is so unsafe should you be in a high speed crash as it will have the seats slide off. Please don't do this!

I don’t know how this would work for kids but as a professional car lounger I’ve got my own car blanket and I keep two pairs of shoes in the car so if I have to I can leave the house barefoot and put them on when I’m there
