As someone who has run a business before, I can honestly say that one of the reasons I started was to make money. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
But if money is the only reason you’re going into business, you may struggle to stay the course.
Business has a way of testing you from every angle. There will be slow seasons, disappointments, unexpected expenses, and moments when you’ll question whether it’s all worth it.
That’s why you need a purpose that’s bigger than money. Your “why” is what keeps you showing up when the profits aren’t showing up yet. Have a strong why.
