L-glutamine has helped me a lot with histamine issues. Just like you, I could only eat boiled chicken and eggs. I had hives, I got bloated, etc. When the gut barrier is weak, you get histamine reactions from any food causing mast cells to fire, so protecting your gut barrier helps prevent the flare ups. I’ve been dealing with it for 3 years, I’ve been drinking L-glutamine 5g 30 min before eating and in 3 weeks I’ve noticed a big difference

Do you have the fragrance allergic reaction thing with MCAS? For me it’s the suckiest part ever aside from only being able to eat 5 foods lol I’m on Cromolyn and once I hit full dose my functional dr prescribed KPV

I can’t even get a diagnosis of MCAS 5 different doctors ( regular MD, ENT, allergist, gastroenterologist, rheumatologist) & “you’re fine, probably just getting over a cold” 🤦🏼♂️but yet have every symptom that you have described

I cannot take ANY vitamins/supplements. I’m so so sick of trying. Idk if I even have histamine/MCAS but I’m symptomatic for almost 2 yrs.
