The reason gold is dropping has more to do with the strengthening dollar combined with rising energy costs. When foreign currencies lose buying power they have to sell their physical gold. This creates an over supply and the price drops. There is a much larger issue. Whom will the USA sell its widgets too when there is nit enough credit(dollars) in the money supply?
