Culvers used to be the expensive treat, now since everything costs Culvers money id rather just go to them. Every fast food chain prices almost doubled and Culvers stayed relatively the same.

it's not just "inflation" It's mostly driven by this crazy idea that we should be paying low skill workers much more and now the cost is pawned off on the rest of us.

I quit going to McDonald's. I can go to my local chili's and get vastly better food for about the same amount. when I did go to McDonald's it was through the drive through. years ago when you ordered, your food was ready when you got to the window. today my local McDonald's takes about 20 minutes from the time you place the order until you can get it. I sat for 30 minutes, just to order. never went back.

- "Used to cost $5.39" and doesn't give specific date. When was that, 20 years ago? (Strike 1) - 122% inflation? and still gives no reference to year of comparison again (Strike 2. Turns out $5.39 to $11.99 based purely on inflation took approx 30 years, 1995 to 2026) - I got a DOUBLE 1/4 Pounder with Cheese Meal (Fries & Drink) two days ago for $11.59 (Strike 3. I'm guessing you're located in a state with fast food tax)

“Used to” way to quantify. Gas used to be $0.89/gallon. Grandpa use to say it was a nickel but im not sure i believe him
