A lot of people don’t realize it’s a hormonal thing. If your hormones and baby’s hormones/body just isn’t ready no matter what you do it’s not going to put you into labor. Ever since my doctor told me this I gave up on stuff like this because it just had me in pain for NOTHING.

Had no problems getting a membrane sweep with my last 2 pregnancies & for some reason the dr I see now won’t do it til I’m 39 weeks & I don’t have an appt with her until next Thursday. My induction is next Friday.

there is any reason to do membrane sweep before 40 weeks? My hospital Will not offer It to me until I reach 40 weeks, induction at 41 weeks. Good luck!!!
