Maybe that’s another reason why he got super jealous. Not just for the adoration she got, but because she grew to love Drogo but in his mind she was supposed to be his. 👀

He's a Targaryan- He was supposed to marry Danny, but he needed an army more. He didn't love Danny, he saw her as an object; but since they were the last Targaryan's left, there was no one else to keep their bloodline pure. Add to that, he married her off to someone who treated her better, and he didn't like how happy she was. He grew envious of her, her happiness, her power, and that he didn't get the respect he expected. He gave away his own prized possession, Khal Drogo immediately mounted her (repeatedly), yet he didn't have his Iron Throne. It would have made more sense to promise Danny to Khal, get his army, claim his Iron Throne, THEN let Danny marry Khal, but noooo. Just give away the most precious thing you have right away for the potential of a throne. It always seemed like an idiotic decision to me. 😬
