Full stop. → **NinjaTrader** — better suited to automation than TV, but the architecture is dated. Extremely limited in what it can actually do. → **MT4** — So so so old. → **MT5** — not really available to U.S. traders through legitimate channels. If you’re getting into it via an offshore brokerage, you’re likely running afoul of CFTC regs anyway. Don’t do it. The reality of modern automated trading: you need your own execution infrastructure. Purpose-built. Data ingestion, ML models, containerized execution — the works.
