I’m in labor right now, but it’s more like period cramps. My stomach gets hard and uncomfortable but other than that they’re not bad. But I know once my water breaks they’ll be more intense

You will know! But if you want a good description it’s like really bad period cramps and my stomach got SUPERRR hard. Which Braxton Hicks are the same way, they are uncomfortable but don’t hurt! Just a tighten of the belly, but you’ll know it’s a contraction!! I also had really really bad back pain which I later found out was back labor, and it made me feel like I had to PUSHHH😅.

girl its different for EVERYONE ! i had no clue i was contracting ON Pitocin with my son until i was literally 6/7 cm dilated and abt to give birth 😭 and the ones saying “period cramps” it feels NOTHING like a period cramp at all 😂

Mine just felt like cramps, took me about 15-20 minutes to realize what they were and how close they were. Baby girl was here 12 hours later

i see all the “ur gonna know” everyones different but for me ir felt like annoying lower back aches even on pitocin my bds aunt didnt even have them its really just a guessing game

Yea I didn’t know 😅 the nurse asked if I could feel the contractions that I were having bc they where decent on the monitor 😂

i didn’t know till i was 7cm THEN I KNEW and it didn’t feel like i had to poop it literally felt like my baby was sliding out of me and i had to push. my body was forcing me to push until an hour later when it was actually time to push 😅

i thought everything was contractions 😭 but no they don’t feel like periods cramps. its like diarrhea cramps. my stomach didn’t hurt. and baby isn’t moving as much

I didn’t feel my contractions at all and they had to give me pictocin or something to even start feeling mine (everyone is different)

everyone said the same thing to me one day because I was in pain and they asked if it was contractions, I said I dont know ive never had a contraction. Went in, yes, it was contractions.

personally I've birthed 4 kids and about to birth another and I have NEVER felt a contraction or known i was on labor until 10cm. i switched OB for my last kiddo who thought I was joking until they saw it for themselves. now my file is flagged and they are trying to prep for my next delivery with extra appointments where I have no warning signs and don't know im in labor or feel anything until the baby is literally crowning. you got this mama

I actually didn’t know so I labored at home for 8 hours. Obviously I knew I was in pain. It just felt like I had to fart or #2 and was extremely gassy!

I got hospitalized my 27th week and the nurse came in telling me the monitor was saying I was having contractions but I wasn't feeling anything 😭 (we still don't know if the monitor was geeking or if I just didnt feel them an im high risk now)
