I locked my 4wd fork over so that stays locked all the time too I haven’t had an issue with mine actually fixed my 4x4

t case is chain driven slop in the chain I had my 2nd gen cummins I took the tcase out put in a np205 tcase from a 70s Ford gear driven and did a permaloc on the front axle and hub lockouts got rid of all that vacuum lines and chain garbage

definitely took out the t-case from the previous shop locking the front axel in full time. those cases aren’t meant to be constantly spinning therefore causing premature wear. i’d tell the customer to go after the previous shop for that 🤷♂️
