The album would first start to be teased with Ken previewing two snippets on June 4, 2025. Later in the day, Ken would make a post on X teasing the name. Ken’s official fan page would confirm the title of the album soon after. On January 27, 2026, after the announcement of his WTF Tour, Ken would then reply to a fan in an Instagram post where he announced that the rollout would insist of the European tour, the album itself, and a United States tour. Then almost an entire year later, the rollout for the xperiment would slowly start to take place, beginning on May 8, 2026, where posters for the album would be seen in Orlando, Florida. This was also a day after he was announced to be the headliner of Rolling Loud Orlando, 2026. A few hours later at midnight, Rolling Loud took to X and posted: HEAR IT FIRST ROLLING LOUD SUNDAY This post also featured an image of the posters around Orlando. This would hint at Ken playing tracks off of the xperiment during his headlining set at the festival. He would later confirm, replying to 42ceo’s tweet about if Ken Carson would play more than 3 songs off of the album during his Rolling Loud Orlando set, to which he would simply reply with “yes.” A month after his Rolling Loud performance, Ken would stay active on his alternative Instagram account, posting concept merch and art. On June 10, 2026, Ken would post a USB stick on his X account where fans speculated that the USB stick contained the album. Throughout the day, artists such as Destroy Lonely, Young Thug, and 2hollis would all take to Instagram to post the USB stick, confirming their feature placement on the album. On June 14, Ken would take to his X account and post a trailer alongside the album, captioned: july —which would confirm the release date. Three days after, a trailer posted by Ken would hint that the album would be seeing a release on July 3, 2026. Then on June 19, 2026, Ken Carson would tweet a presave link to the album, showcasing the official cover art, alongside the official release date, which would end up being July 3, 2026.
