For a long time, I was insecure about my nose. It wasn’t a “typical” shape, it had a small bump, and I used to hide it, even behind a mask. There was a time I would’ve done anything to change it, even though it’s something I was born with, something that connects me to my parents. I won’t say the insecurity is gone. Sometimes I still feel it, especially in candid moments. But I try not to act on it. not because I’m against cosmetic procedures, but because it hurts that anyone feels they need to erase a part of themselves just to be accepted. What makes me sad is how beauty has been narrowed into one shape, one nose, one standard. I’ve tried editing my own to fit that mold, and it didn’t suit my face at all. Most of the time, people are more beautiful before they try to look like everyone else. This isn’t telling anyone what to do. It’s a reminder: your features are not flaws. They carry your story, your family, your history. And you don’t owe the world sameness, you owe yourself kindness. #fyp #nose
