The point of that statement was never what violence she was capable of, it's that Frieren can comprehend a world where her violence is no longer necessary and live in that world. The comparison was to Serie and Flamme who were mages utterly incapable of not seeing a great challenge or height and not seeking to meet it. All of this is based in the core function of magic in universe as perception overwhelming knowledge or capacity. To reuse the example, Serie could never attain an era of peace because she was aspiring to domination through knowledge. Frieren could because she could see the world beyond that final fight and create it.
