I do not understand the appeal of a curbless shower. If ever there’s a place in your home where function should precede form, it’s anywhere water is dispensed and needs to drain properly. This is right up there with those European half shower doors, also pointless.

The brackets are a waste of money when working with standard 2x10 joist just use 2x2 ledger board. You will need to use a bracket system if the joist are engineered Trust or IBEAMS . Yes 3/4” is enough room for a pre sloped pan like Schluter or Hydroblock.

which hardware system is this? iv done a couple but with brackets. I'd really like to become familiar with more and better prep systems. I mean the way i did it was flawless but time is key getting things ready
