I recently found out my ex boyfriend (who has committed sexual assault against MULTIPLE people of SEVERAL different types) has joined his local police force... thank God I don't live there anymore but I'm actually so scared for the constituents of the area.

I’ve told my daughters since they started driving that they should never ever pull over in an isolated area. First of all, because it might not actually be an official officer. Secondly, even if it is, it’s still dangerous. If they end up with lights behind them and there’s no safe place to pull over, call 911 to let them know you’ll be driving to a well-lit, populated area.

When my mom was 15 I think she was pulled over with her friend and the officer said if they lifted their shirts he would let them go. Unfortunately her friend ended up doing it out of fear but this has been happening for so long and it’s awful

Why don’t the regular laws apply to them? Like, at any other job I feel these things aren’t laws either but they are still illegal? I believe you it’s different for cops but super super stupid that it is.
