Allison Jones applied for a tech job at a company called Nexesh through LinkedIn’s “Easy Apply” feature — and after a rescheduled interview led to a miscommunication, she received a racist email addressed “Dear Chimp” from an HR manager. When she pushed back, the emails got worse — with the company attacking DEI hiring and using repeated racial slurs. The company issued a public apology and claimed it had fired the employee. But when #TSRInvestigates’ @Justin Branker-Carter dug deeper — and Allison’s attorney began discovery — they found no company named Nexesh registered in Delaware despite the website’s claims, no tenants at the listed address, and AI-generated staff photos across the entire site.
