What’s wrong with it? And that’s not true. I’ve had a good peach cobbler matcha in the past. The matcha was the dominant flavor. I don’t think the added flavor is the problem it’s how much of it is used. But then again to each their own.

The thing is matcha isn’t as bold as coffee so syrups cover the original flavor wayyy too much to the point where you’re just drinking flavored milk and paying extra for matcha you can’t taste. Crazier flavors work better for coffee because it’s bold enough to cut through and still be present as a specific taste in a drink.

cafes have gone away with horrible matcha ny adding to much sugar to remove the awful taste if their matcha is good they wouldn't need all those added things its fine to experiment every now and then but it gets to a point where youre not even drinking matcha anymore must milk and sugar

😬😬 I live in Georgia and there is a cafe that offered a summer peach matcha. It was delicious refreshing, and I could still taste the Matcha. 🍑

Plain matcha, with strawberry and blueberry lavender. I do jasmine green tea matcha, and that’s as far as I go. Sometimes also earl grey tea in the matcha. But all these places are making desserts out of it.

I agree. Ppl just want dessert in a drink and matcha is not that imo. If ppl want sweet drinks just go drink a latte or sumn😭 I feel like whenever I drink coffee vs matcha I add more sweeteners/syrups to my coffee/decaf than I do matcha bc I want to taste the flavor profile of the matcha itself with minimal sweetener added 😭
